Bracelet Inner Diameter: 165mm measuring at widest extension. About This Tudor Royal Timepiece. Likely dating from the mid 1940s This 9ct Gold cased Tudor Royal is in stunning condition.

The 9ct gold case has been very finely polished and is absolutely gleaming. The textured, patinated and signed Tudor dial has stylised baton markers with Arabic numeric quarters, gold toned hour and minute hands.

The hallmarks on the matching solid 9ct gold open link bracelet are mostly obscured but I can see enough to ascertain that the bracelet was almost certainly assayed in Birmingham very likely in1959 although I must stress that I cannot be 100% certain of this however it has to be considered that the Tudor Royal may be later than the 1940s or that the bracelet might be a replacement bracelet. We know that the bracelet was manufactured by Payton Pepper & Co Ltd who were based in Birmingham at this time covering both the 1940/50s dates as the bracelet is stamped with their makers mark being PPLD.
