A STUNNING VINTAGE 1936 GENTS ROLEX WRISTWATCH IN SOLID 9ct GOLD. This is a beautiful gents Rolex wristwatch. The condition of this Rolex for being around 85 years old is very good with a few age related marks. Stunning silver cream dial with stylish black numerals and fancy blue steel hands this Rolex has such style and charm. The wonderful high grade Rolex movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker in the past 6 months. Please note: watches of this age even when seriviced can gain or lose between up to 1 minute a day what is acceptable for a 100 year old watch. To complete this fantastic piece, we've put it on a new high quality strap. The solid gold case is in very good condition for its age. The case measures 28mm across without the winding crown and 33mm long including the lugs. Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected: Rolex, 25 world records, gold medal, Geneva-Swiss, fully hallmarked for solid 9ct gold and numbered on the outer case 15282 2008. It also has an lovley inscription: From Gran to Eric, February the 5th 1936. Ning original dial has been painstakingly restored to the highest possible standard.
