AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE EDWARDIAN PERIOD SUFFRAGETTE 9CT'SWEET HEART' HOOPED BRACELET C1905S, ORIGINAL BOX. A WONDERFUL ONE OF A KIND CUSTOM QUALITY ITEM, STUNNING!

9ct yellow gold Edwardian hinged bracelet, with an inner width 6.2cm or 5.5. The outer width is 7.0 This bracelet has an excellent sprung clasp and is dressed with its original gold safety chain. The bracelelt is style with a large guage gold heart to the centre which has an excellent garnet cabochon stone. It weighs 7.43 grams. This item has a full set of English hall marks, which are very rubbed but are visible using a loupe.

It dates from C1905, but maybe earlier? This bracelet is of hollow construction and shows minor denting to the metal, please see detailed condition report & photos?

This is the only Suffragette bracelet we have ever seen in a sweet heart style and is unrepeatable! This type of jewel is exceptionally rare todays market and were not available commercially in period, so many would have been adapted from period jewels by jobbing jewellers, resulting in some unusual designs and a large range of styles. This bracelet is from an earlier period and would have been up to 10 years old when adapted and is of good quality, so a rare survivor? The glass stones featured are Peridot for Green, Amethyst for Violet, clear crystal for White, supposedly symbolizing the Suffragette movements mantra, Give Women the Vote?

These colours were first adopted in C1900 and the colours represent G reen for Hope, W hite for purity and V iolet for dignity. Is a high grade yellow 9ct gold, which is fully hallmarked with English hall marks and a makers name and and is of hollow hooped construction and is very decorative and is set woth crystals and a central garnet cabochon stone. The bracelet has its original sprung safety clasp and gold safety chain. It has an internal diameter of 6.2 cm or 5.5 and external diameter of 7.0 It weighs 7.45 grams. It has an outstanding period patina and has been well loved in the past. This is the original antique presentation box in brown faux leatherette exterior and an unmarked red velvet cushion and satin interior. It is an antique in its own right. It is in vintage condition 2 and shows age realted loss to the exterior, but is in very useable condition please see photos?

This item is in vintage condition 1/2. There is no damage to any of the components apart from surface scratching to the larger glass crystals and some age related delamination and denting to the metal work in 2 places, which does not detract from the items charm or wear ability. The hallmarks are rubbed and are not really decipherable, but are still visible using a loupe?

There is a tiny pin hole on the hallmarks, but this is table and does not affect the useability. All of our jewellery is carefully cleaned and checked before sale.
